Battle of Borodino

The Battle of Borodino (Russian: [bərədʲɪˈno]) took place near the village of Borodino on during Napoleon's invasion of Russia. The won the battle against the Imperial Russian Army but failed to gain a decisive victory and suffered tremendous losses.
