Príncipe (English: /ˈprɪnsᵻpə-p/; in Portuguese (Portuguese: [ˈpɾĩsɨpɨ]) is the smaller, northern major island of the country of São Tomé and Príncipe lying off the west coast of Africa in the Gulf of Guinea.
