Štrigova
Štrigova (German: Stridau; Hungarian: Stridóvár) is a village and municipality in Međimurje County, in northern Croatia. History Oldest archaeological finds in Štrigova municipality are from Roman period. Burial mounds and fragments of pottery were found in the hamlet of Trnovčak. Fragments of the Roman roads were found at the same locality. The settlement Štrigova is first time mentioned in 1271 as Castr. Strigo (English: Fort Strigo).
