Cusco, also spelled Cuzco (Spanish: [ˈkusko]; Quechua: Qusqu suyu Quechua: [ˈqɔsqɔ ˈsʊjʊ]), is a department and region in Peru and is the fourth largest department in the country, after Madre de Dios, Ucayali, and Loreto.
